NTi Technologies is the cabling contractor Dallas law firms trust for complex, multi-phase low-voltage projects. Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP needed a full infrastructure overhaul on their 17th floor at 2323 Ross Ave. We delivered it on time and to spec.
First, our team relocated approximately 90 existing Cat6 cables. This cleared the way for the new installation. Next, we pulled 92 new Cat6 and 20 Cat6A horizontal cable runs across the entire floor. Every workstation, office, and network point got a clean, dedicated connection.
Beyond the horizontal cabling, the project also required two OS2 armored fiber riser runs. We pulled both from the MDF down to carrier demarcs on the 9th and 16th floors. Our technicians fusion spliced each run and certified the results. As a result, the client got verified, high-performance fiber connectivity between floors.
We also rebuilt the main distribution frame from scratch. Our team repositioned the racks and installed new patch panels throughout. Everything was dressed, labeled, and documented before handoff.
In addition, we handled security cabling for 17 Kastle door locations and 5 camera drops. On top of that, we ran a complete A/V cable infrastructure for six conference rooms, the boardroom, and a dedicated training room. Because of that, the client got a fully wired, move-in-ready floor.
Finally, every cable received a label and every connection got tested. The result was a clean, organized, and fully operational 17th floor — built to perform for years to come.
